Custom letterpress cards are made on thick cotton and textured uncoated stocks, where the design is pressed into the paper instead of printed on top of it. Each plate is etched from your artwork, locked into the press and impressed under pressure, so logos and type sit in a soft, visible recess with crisp edges and a surface you can feel with a fingertip. Blind deboss, tonal ink and hot foil can all be combined on the same card, and the same process covers hang tags, menu cards, thank-you cards and packaging inserts. Because the impression is physical rather than visual, letterpress suits brands that want their printed material to feel considered and handmade rather than glossy.

Please supply vector files (AI / EPS / PDF) with all fonts converted to outlines. Keep the foil area on its own spot-colour layer so the stamping die can be produced accurately. Avoid hairlines below roughly 0.3 mm and very small reversed-out type, because a deep impression will fill them in. Very fine detail is better placed away from the deepest part of the impression. If you only have a low-resolution JPG or PNG, our team will review it and tell you what needs to be redrawn before production.
